Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information when you use PassLogit:

• ◆Account information: name, email address, program type (RN/PN), nursing school, and state of licensure application — collected at registration via Clerk.
• ◆Exam performance data: your responses to practice questions, readiness scores, session history, and GreenLight status — stored in our Neon/PostgreSQL database.
• ◆Payment information: subscription tier and billing details processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
• ◆Usage analytics: page views, feature interactions, and session duration via privacy-respecting analytics tools.
• ◆Communications: emails or messages you send to our support addresses.

We use the information we collect to: (a) provide and improve the PassLogit platform and its adaptive testing features; (b) verify GreenLight Guarantee eligibility and process refund claims; (c) communicate with you about your account, subscription, and support requests; (d) comply with applicable legal obligations; and (e) measure platform performance and inform product development.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, under strict data processing agreements:

• ◆Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• ◆Clerk — user authentication, session management, and account security.
• ◆Neon (PostgreSQL) — cloud database hosting for exam performance and profile data.

We may also disclose information as required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

PassLogit collects academic performance data solely for the purpose of providing NCLEX preparation services. We do not share student educational records with third parties for commercial purposes. If you are attending an institution that has a FERPA agreement with PassLogit, additional protections may apply. Contact us at support@passlogit.com for details.

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state (via Clerk). We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools that do not fingerprint individual users across sites. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting core platform functionality.

We retain your account and performance data for as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@passlogit.com. Note that certain data may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and financial record-keeping purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email support@passlogit.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt-hashed credentials via Clerk, and role-based access controls on our Neon database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we are committed to protecting your data.

PassLogit is intended exclusively for adults (18+) pursuing nursing licensure. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
